It’s About The Kids, Inc. is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization established to encourage excellence in today’s youth through programs that build a healthy mind, body, and spirit. We endeavor to provide youth a disciplined and positive environment whereby they can attain skills and tools needed to help them excel in multiple capacities at school as well as in sports.
We strive to empower our youth to become leaders. With our Conflict Resolution Program, we create self-confidence, self-improvement, and self-empowerment. Participants will receive like skills as well as develop interpersonal communication skills to assist them in dealing with friends, school mates, and family.
We expose our youth to Leadership and Entrepreneurship Programs as well as provide Tutoring services. Our youth are provided outlets for artistic expression in the areas of Music, Dance, Drawing, Painting, and Poetry to name a few. We also provide cooking classes via our Culinary Arts program. These are among the many services we provide our youth.
IATK, Inc, promotes physical health and fitness for our youth. Our AAU Baskeball Program teaches the fundamentals of baskeball – dribbling, passing, defenses, offenses; also how to work and win as a team as well as how to lose gracefully and bounce back from losing as a team.
